All residents of Friedrichsfelde can also borrow games or use our drop-in social counselling services during our opening hours.
The community centre also has two laptops which can be used during opening hours by arrangement. You can, for example, use them to write job applications or do online research for your homework.
We also post information about our programs on Facebook, Instagram and Nebenan.de.
You can borrow games and toys from us on the 5th floor of the community centre in Einbecker Straße 85 during the community centre’s regular opening hours. The standard lending period is 2 weeks, but this can be extended by prior arrangement.
We are always grateful when we receive donations of well-kept toys and games that help expand our selection. They help add diversity to our toy library and make it more attractive to the community. Our contact details for registering can be found here.

Since November 2023 we’ve been out with our mobile community centre traveling with a handcart. You can find us in and around Friedrichsfelde every Thursday!
During the winter months, we organise walks around the neighbourhood to explore the area and connect with residents and local stakeholders alike. In the warmer months, we set up mobile stations in the community and host activities including play afternoons and coffee mornings. We also schedule visits to many of the neighbourhood’s playgrounds to inform the community about our work and the community centre, and to build relationships and community spirit.
Our mobile work encourages people to meet and socialise. We also want to raise awareness about the Community Centre Friedrichsfelde, its programs and activities, and invite people to become actively involved.
Our aim is to plan and run activities, events and groups with you based on your wishes and ideas, both within the community centre and beyond.
During our neighbourhood walks and at our mobile stations, we always offer anonymous (brief) consultations to provide support and information.
Once a month, Ms. Mansoorian from the Berlin Job Coaches will be our guest to assist you with any questions related to job searching.

Join us for our upcycling workshop at Community Centre Friedrichsfelde every third Tuesday of the month from 3.30 to 6 pm. Upcycling is a creative and sustainable way of giving new life to old items instead of throwing them away. No previous experience is required and all materials are provided. The workshop is open to everyone.
Funded by the ‘Strengthening Berlin’s Large Housing Estates’ project, the workshop is organised in collaboration with Garage10 e.V. and led by Claudine from Löwengrün. Together we’ll discover how to transform used materials into beautiful and useful objects.
We look forward to some creative tinkering and turning the old into the new!
Join us and our partners on our clean-up activities in the afternoon and evening of every second Thursday of the month, where we collect litter together. We provide litter pickers, gloves and bags and arrange for Berlin Waste Management (BSR) to come and collect the full bags. What makes our clean-up special is that we work with you to decide where to perform the clean ups.
Our clean-up activities are community-based, fun activities for people of all ages. Everyone can pitch in and get involved! We provide hot drinks and snacks during the clean-up.
We have set-up a donation box for voluntary donations to support our services. Your support helps us in maintaining and improving our activities.
We aim to make all our activities and events accessible to everyone. Our community centre in Einbecker Straße 85 has a lift.
